What a great quote by the writer/author of this book, Kurt Vonnegut. He is a wonderful writer and he has a lot of funny and interesting things to say. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1922 and died in 2007 at the age of 84. As a writer, he wrote several novels, short stories, essays and plays.

In his book, "Slaughterhouse-Five", he describes the Dresden fire bombing of Germany which killed thousands of people during World War II. In his book, "Breakfast of Champions", Vonnegut describes his experiences of being a prisoner of war during World War II. The quote above is from his introduction to the novel.

Vonnegut did not care what anyone said about him or his work which is exactly how he should have been writing.
